Beginning with a handful of vendors, under the direction of the Antigonish Regional Development Authority a decade ago, the Antigonish Framers' Market is now in its 11th year and still growing!

Our family of regular vendors has grown from a handful to as high as 50, depending on the season. At our market you will find a bounty of "Feel Good Food", which includes a wide variety of locally grown and organic fruits and vegetables, organic meats, maple syrup, honey, preserves, wild mushrooms, heritage products, to whatever kind of mouth watering baked goods you could imagine.

Breakfast can be had at the kitchen or you may enjoy the vegetable stir-fry or organic sausages cooked on site every Saturday morning by vendors. From our many artisans and crafters you're sure to find unique jewellery, quilts, wall hangings, wood products, photos, painted silk items and stained glass--just to name a few. Our extended family of vendors pride themselves in providing "Quality Products from People You Know."

On Wednesdays during July and August, between 3 to 6 p.m., you can drop into our extended downtown market. Just look for the signs on Main Street and the colourful red and blue canopies. Here you will find a cozy gathering of vendors selling produce, fresh fruit, baked goods, plus arts and crafts. Gather up the family. Meet friends, have a coffee or snack, listen to live music, and enjoy the atmosphere of a country market. The children will enjoy the activities provided in the "Kids Korner."
